Arsene Wenger has cleared the air as regards the transfer speculations of Mohamed Elneny and Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain.
Elneny was strongly speculated to be announced as an Arsenal player today but recent revelation from the manager confirms that there are few setbacks.
It is believed that the player’s work permit is the major obstacle in his way since the English FA is still reluctant to hand him the necessary papers.
Nevertheless, the manager is confident that, his transfer will be done and over with within few days.
“It’s complicated a little bit,” said Wenger. “We work hard on it and I hope in the next two or three days we get to the end of it.”
Chamberlain has been a subject of worrying speculations of a move to Chelsea.
The Blues seem set to lose Eden Hazard and are looking for English talents to fill the void left by the Belgium international, as per the reports.
The 22-year-old is struggling to get back to his true form at the club and Wenger believes he will continue plying his trade at the club.
Quizzed on whether the reports linking were “rubbish”, Wenger answered “yes”.
