Pep Guardiola’s confirmed the English Premier League to be his next destination but all are still in the dark as per his preferred club.
The Arsenal fans are hopeful that the Spanish tactician will take over the reins at the club when Wenger stops work at the club but the move happens to have some twists and turns.
Wenger’s current contract does not end till the summer of 2017 and it’s either he resigns or Pep goes on a sabbatical before the two ends meet.
However, a Spanish football expert Guillem Balague thinks that Arsenal have an outside chance of being the lucky team.
“I go agree that Pep would be perfect for Arsenal but, despite the interest of Pep in the London team, I feel he might be going somewhere else,” Balague said, as per Sky Sports.
“As it stands, he has not signed anything and both City and Chelsea think they have a good chance to get him.”
Guardiola’s wife is reported to favour a move to London and there is no chance of him arrival Chelsea unless he has lost it.
Few are of the thought that Wenger could leave if he wins the League title this season but it will be no surprise if he extends his contract at the club further.
