Wenger has revealed that two of his stars may miss the next game as they received knocks against Dinamo Zagreb on Tuesday.
Arsenal face Norwich in the English Premier League game on Sunday and the Gunners will be looking to avoid dropping points this time after we scuppered the chance of topping the table last week.
A major concern for the game is the availability of Alexis Sanchez and Joel Campbell who are reportedly not match fit, as confirmed by the manager.
The duo were on fire against Zagreb where they ran riot from opposite wings; Campbell’s assist led to the goal scored by Sanchez and now it is so happens that the duo may not play in the next game.
“Spontaneously it might not be the best moment to rest Alexis, but I don’t know,” Wenger said.
“He had a little hamstring alarm, but we will see how he recovers from that.
“Joel Campbell had a little calf problem so I will assess all that on Friday, and at the latest Saturday.
“We have providers. Alexis Sanchez, Aaron Ramsey and Santi Cazorla all have quality while Mesut Özil is not just a provider now – he likes to get on the end of things.”
Sanchez particularly needs some rest and there is no better chance to rest him other than against Norwich. Kieran Gibbs has proven that he could play on the left wing when called upon. While Alex Oxlade-chamberlain, who is expected to be back to the team sure knows his onions on the left wing.
