Arsenal could complete the signing of a defender during this January transfer window, it is claimed
As per Arseblog News, Mathieu Debuchy is set to leave the club before the end of this week. He earlier revealed that he would discuss with Arsene Wenger as regard his fate at the club.
“I’ll look at the offers to move. I love England and the football here, but why not return to France?
“In the summer Arsene Wenger told me we’d talk if I was not happy with my situation in December.
However, Wenger has made his stance known while being diplomatic at the same time. It’s certain that Hector Bellerin is the first choice right back and with Debuchy’s National team Manager insisting that he plays regularly for his club side if he is to make the France Euro ’16 squad, he was sure to push for a move.
It was previously reported that both Aston Villa and Newcastle were contenders for his signature. However, Roma came into the scenes, as reported on Monday.
Fresh reports suggest that a transfer to west Brom could be completed this week and we just have to wish him well.
It’s a shame to see him leave; a little stay could have seen him won the Premier League title.
