It seems Arsenal are not content with the services of their midfielders in their ranks, cause they seem to be courting every central midfielder that catches their fancy.
The Gunners have been liked with Arturo Vidal and Sami Khedira but it now appears that yet another one has joined the wish-list.
Reports suggests that Arsenal are interested in securing the services of Borussua Dortmund’s midfielder – Ilkay Gundogan.
It is reported that Wenger has sent scouts to watch the midfielder closely, of which positive feedbacks was gotten.
The 24-year-old has already told his current club that he will be leaving once this season is over, after the club’s shady performance in the Bundesliga this 2014/2015 season.
Borussia Dortmund on their part are looking to cut costs since they have failed to secure a UEFA Champions league spot and are not prepared to let him go on a bosman since he is approaching the final year in his current contract.
He is described as a complete midfielder and is quite proficient in passing the ball. He could also score goals and will not fail to shoot the ball from a distance if occassions call for it.
Arsenal are not alone in vying for his signature, reports has it that Manchester United are also keen to sign him up.
